Over a year ago, I saw a post on Facebook from a friend looking for an assistant for a theater show. I was in a bit of a rut in my career and I said to myself, just send in some interest and see what happens.
That friend has become my mentor and has changed my career for the better. Every show, I learn and grow more as a hairstylist, makeup artist, and as a professional in general.

I’m so excited to be on the crew for my fourth show with and I can’t wait for opening night tonight! 1 year of running around with a wig and pins on me: the best path I’ve chosen in a while.

It’s been 5 years since you’ve been gone. Summers have been the saddest: when the light hits right from the backyard, I feel like you’re back there working on the plants with Lana barking right behind you. We miss you everyday. I hope you’re watching us from wherever and that you’re blessing us with your presence everytime we think about you.

Thank you for being my number one cheerleader in my career and always being the best dad you can be, even if it was punishing my brother and I for being little sh*ts.

August was a transitional month for me. I got involved with an amazing opportunity ( ) and my partner and I got some amazing pups ( ). But I was so stressed from everything that my hair was not a priority for me: so I buzzed it.

Even though I love long hair, this cut challenged my creativity and skills as a colorist. This is my latest attempt at something fun.the question is: do I keep changing my color or pick something as my “signature” color?
