Motherhood teaches me daily to trust God with what I can’t control. My daughters are growing, becoming their own people and I just pray the world is kind to them. 🙏🏾

Today’s a special kind of full-circle moment. 💫
I look at this young photo of me… full of innocence, hope, and dreams, and I smile. Not because life went how I imagined… but because it didn’t. And somehow, that was the greatest gift. 💛

I’m not who I thought I’d be...
Life has stretched me, grown me, broken and rebuilt me. Becoming a wife, a mom, and someone who shows up for others in need has taught me lessons no book ever could. Lessons written in tears, laughter, quiet prayers, and small victories.

There’ve been seasons I didn’t think I’d make it through. Days that felt like too much. Moments where I lost myself, only to find a stronger, wiser version waiting to be reawakened.

But through it all, God’s grace has never left my side. 🙏🏽 His love covers, restores, and reminds me: I am still becoming.

So today, I honor the little girl I was, the woman I am, and the journey in between.
Here’s to more growth, more gratitude, and more grace.

My sweet girl

Joy placed 6th in the state of Illinois and this is only her first year wrestling! This is just the beginning. She’s put in the work, pushed through every challenge, and proven that growth happens when you step outside your comfort zone. She doesn’t even realize how great she is yet, but I do! So proud of her hard work and dedication!
