Created this summer sand blonde using silver light charcoal lightener

Our goal today was to blend her grey while also having dimension and this lightener did not disappoint!

My client has naturally dark brunette hair and usually tends to lift warmer. So I checked my arsenal and just had to bust out the tried and true charcoal lightener!

My client had some previously chunkier highlights w/ some brassy lowlights mixed in, my goal was to bring the highlights up taking some finer weaves, but feathering it out so she can still rock a lived in look w/ lower maintenance

Summer is the perfect time to experiment with embracing your hair’s natural texture! But you might be thinking, “where do I even start?!”

Here’s some tips to embrace your natural hair this summer!

☀️Incorporate hair products that hydrate and moisturize your hair!
On top of a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, I recommend incorporating a leave-in conditioner and oil for your ends. My clients and I really enjoy Olaplex No.9 serum and their No.7 oil!

☀️Lay off the heat!
Hot tools can damage your hair’s natural curl or wave pattern. The longer you lay off the flat iron, the better your curls/waves will be

☀️Handle wet hair with care!
When your hair is wet, it is in its most fragile state. Use a wide tooth comb or wet brush and swap your towel for a microfiber towel or t-shirt
