This is so true and healthy for us.
Funny how young parents refuse to let their kids run around barefoot these days. I don't think I wore shoes all summer when I was a kid unless we had to when we left home to go somewhere.
I think our parents were pretty smart - and didn't even know it!

Here's the smartest thing I've seen!.How's your garden growing?
Question for you Michiganders:
Is it too late to start your seedlings (inside) for the garden?
I meant to start it in February but time got away from me and I've not started yet! Is it too late for Tomatoes? Help!

How is your "Tree Garden" growing these days?

Much to learn here:
I also think about the essential oils we can extract from many trees such as Cedarwood, Frankincense and many fir trees. So lets add to the sign on the tree - what's your "scent" you can give, extract and heal?

Avocado lovers!
I never had them growing up and wasn't to sure of them a few years ago. Now I LOVE them and SOO healthy for your brain! The fat and omega 3 in Avocados is excellent for brain health!
Found this on another fb page I'll forward along:
I'm usually a once a day avocado eater so this helps...if I have room in the freezer!
A little trick I’ve been doing with avocado! I heard that you can buy it frozen but was never able to find it anywhere. So I thought why not freeze it myself. It works amazing! So I buy fresh avocado, cut in half take pit out and slice it. You can chunk it too. I lay it out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze. Then just put in freezer bag and you can take out what you need. A lot of you like it in smoothies. I have been letting it thaw and use it on sandwiches or with eggs. It stays nice and green as well!
