Between them and PayPal, there is not much left for the creator. I am small potatoes on Insight Timer. I record my meditations because I want them to be professional for those listening to them, not to be distracted by weird sounds, especially if the listener is new to meditation. It is scientifically proven that after 11 hours of meditation the physical structure of the brain changes - for the better. This is important for those suffering from issues such as PTSD. I do not rely on my Insight Timer income to pay for the cost of my own subscription to the app, let alone my recording expenses. I create yoga nidras because I BELIEVE REST & RELAXATION RESTORE THE SOUL - and therefore the mind and body. APPLE, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR STANCE.
