There's a difference between doing hair and understanding hair. A silk press doesn't just start with a flat iron or hot comb. It starts with understanding your hair. When you know how your hair responds to heat, moisture and products, everything changes. This is what this week is about. Not doing more with your hair but understanding WHAT to do with your hair.

Testimony Tuesday 🙌🏾 In 2022, God stretched me more than I ever had been. I was asked to create workshops that could be presented to young girls from elementary to high school age. I was a nervous wreck! But by faith "How to Love on your hair" workshops were born. These workshops unlocked a part of me that had never been accessed. Or so I thought. To be able to teach young ladies how to love the hair they were born with was something I never knew I would be trusted with. By 2023 I took a hiatus from the workshops. During that time, God had me in the operating room. He had to build my confidence, break some things in me that couldn't come with me to what He had on the horizon, I had to unlearn some things, I had to relearn some things. I had to be broken to be built back up. But one day, out of the blue, the opportunity was presented to me again. An opportunity I thought I had lost due to fear and not feeling good enough. But here it was in my lap again. This time it was different. I did provide the workshop to one school in late 2025, but that opportunity pushed me into continuing the work of creating a space where men and women of all ages could come be vulnerable about their hair, learn some techniques, and walk away with more confidence than when they walked in. From there, The Confident Crown Experience was born. Thank you Father for the approval that I'm now ready to step into what you called me to 4 years ago!🙌🏾
