Lunchtime update! 🥗

I changed my lunch spot today. I kept getting cold, then hot, then cold again, so I decided to move over by the fireplace. Hopefully, this is the perfect spot while I enjoy my Asian-inspired salad at Panera Bread. 😊

Today’s office looks a little different. 🌿☕

Mondays are normally my remote workday unless I’m teaching a class, and since no classes are scheduled, I’m working from… Marietta, Georgia!

A friend needed to take care of some business out of state and didn’t want to make the drive alone. As you know, I’m always up for a good road trip! 🚗

While she’s taking care of business, I’m diving into Rare Mineralz work—planning, SOPs, farmers market applications, and getting organized for the weeks ahead. Sometimes a change of scenery is exactly what you need to be productive.

Here’s to making progress, no matter where the office is today. 💚

💭 Devotional

When God gave the Fourth Commandment, He pointed His people back to Creation.

The Sabbath isn’t simply about stopping work, it’s about remembering our Creator. Every seventh day is an opportunity to pause and reflect on the One who spoke light into darkness, formed the mountains, filled the seas, and lovingly created each of us.

The Sabbath gently shifts our attention away from deadlines, responsibilities, and worries and directs our hearts back to God. It reminds us that the same Creator who designed the universe also knows our needs and faithfully cares for us.

Each Sabbath is an invitation to worship, to rest, and to remember that we belong to Him. As we step away from our ordinary routines, we make room to experience the extraordinary peace that comes from spending intentional time with our Creator.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for being my Creator and Sustainer. As I remember You today, fill my heart with gratitude, peace, and confidence in Your loving care. May this Sabbath draw me closer to You. Amen.
