Well it was about 10 years ago 2010-2011) when I first set up this FB page. I was excited to be on the best weight loss journey ever. I had shed 90 pounds in about 10.5 months. Never in my life could I get beyond 20 pounds off on any program or anything I tried myself.
Well I kept this 90 pounds off a good 5+ years. Then slowly these past 5-6 years those damn pounds found me again. Not all of them thankfully but 2/3 of them did.
So, it’s taken me awhile to get my “head back in the game” .... it always does. Denial is a great place to visit but it does not serve us well and we must not live there.
Monday, Jan 4, 2021, I began my journey again. Excited because I know this program works like a charm if you work it. It is the most healthy weight loss plan you will find and if you are lucky to have landed here, you have found your dream weight loss program.
If I’ve invited you, it’s because we’ve recently had a conversation or you may have commented on my main FB page. Maybe I just invited you because I’ve seen you post something about your own struggle. In any event, this page is to help motivate, inspire, educate, and be a sounding board to any needing to let the frustration out and find a safe place to land with people who understand!

This past weekend I'm very excited to have started 8 New people on their journey to optimal health. I've asked them to do something a little extra because success is not measured at the scale alone. If they stay diligent with doing these 2 extra little steps, it will greatly increase their success rate.
1. Take measurements.....Keep them written down and put someplace safe so not to lose them. On Labor Day, take them again. Take again on Halloween, then right before Thanksgiving and again before Christmas. Knowing they will be taking these measurements at these intervals will help to keep them motivated to continue because at each interval, they will see smaller numbers on the tape measure as well as smaller numbers weekly on the scale. This helps during these "critical" holidays to be proud of their accomplishments and not give in to all the holiday temptations!
2. Next, write down on paper or in iPhone notes so they are handy, 10 things losing weight will do to for them, and 10 things they currently have stopped doing that they once enjoyed but weight has caused a slow down or lack of desire (this is for their eyes only).
KEEP THIS HANDY! When faced with a struggle or a plateau, refer to it and know that you have a REAL purpose for doing what you are doing.....YOUR HEALTH AND LIFE!!
Work the plan, and the plan WORKS!!! I will be excited to share their successes as I hear from them. They range in age from their 20's to 70's, and range from wanting to lose 10 pounds up to 130 pounds. Obviously, the 10 will be gone before Labor Day, so this person will just want to check her progress on those dates to keep maintaining.
I truly love helping people realize it is possible to live a healthier life and rid themselves or greatly reduce medications. Can you say "passionate?" This stems from my own 90 pounds off and also the pain of losing 7 friends in a one year span due to obesity!
