Just so y'all know, I'm not young and NOT tech savvy at all, but I'm trying to learn for y'all 😂 Anyway, that took way too long to do, but here you go... It'll get better.

Another one from the vault.
She was a new guest. Starting from a state where I can see how your curls naturally lay is important in order to do a cut that works WITH your curls. We often have multiple textures and the porosity may even be different on different parts of your head. If I had started cutting before we washed, I would have missed the shelf and texture change. Cutting that top layer a lot would have resulted in it being way too cut (as you can see in the after wash photo). Even though she has very low porosity hair, you can see the shape and curl form much better!
I'll be bringing out some photos from the vault that I forgot to post mixed in with some new stuff. This one is from November. I can't wait to see her again in a few weeks for her back to school cut! I know it's grown a ton!

I can only take partial credit for this one. She likes to style her hair at home, so this is her styling and her pic, but she was so nice to share it with me!
Maintenance on this look requires her to come in only every 6 months. We leave some of her natural so the grow out still looks flawless!
I do a mixture of highlights to the roots, especially around her face, and balayage. The remaining hair gets a treatment of liquid colors. After rinsing the color, we tone using the same formula and complete the bond builder treatment that was added to her whitener.
You can get this light with curls, but for the best results and integrity of your hair, you'll want to take it on baby steps, keep up with your trims, and take care of your curls in between. Put down the straightening iron and heat tools!

Ok, first of all, it should be a crime to have this gorgeous hair at SEVEN! I'm so jealous! But isn't she the cutest?!
We used curl cream, volumizing mousse, and argan oil and Orange marmalade (not in that order lol). She often uses the denman brush at home, but we tested out the brush on her and I loved it!
