Didn’t do the zipline after all 😅
Storms + wet mountain trails + lipedema legs = absolutely not.

BUT…
My surgery got moved up to August 3rd 🎉

Feels surreal after carrying this process for so long. Grateful, hopeful, and getting everything lined up one step at a time.

Also yes… my AI agent team is officially helping me organize meds, schedules, prep, reminders, and recovery logistics because apparently this is who I’ve become 😂

Why heat makes lipedema worse

Heat and lipedema are a brutal combination sometimes. 😭☀️

If your swelling, heaviness, pain, fatigue, or inflammation gets worse in the heat… you are NOT imagining it.
For years I thought I was just “sensitive to heat.”

Now I understand what was really happening in my body.

These are some of the things helping me support my lymphatic system during flare days:

One of the sweetest parts of motherhood is when your grown children choose you back. 🩷

After a year of waiting, six denials, and a lot of prayer… it’s officially scheduled.

August 13th. 🙏🏼

This isn’t just surgery—it’s the start of a new chapter in my lipedema journey. I’m grateful, a little nervous, and trusting God every step of the way.

I had my pre-op testing last Friday… and I got surgical clearance. 🤍
After everything—years of questions, pushing, documenting, and not having clear answers—this step matters more than I can explain.
If you’re in this process, I want you to hear this: progress doesn’t come from doing everything every day… it comes from having a system and staying consistent.

I’m not at the finish line yet, but it’s moving forward. And that’s enough for today.

That pain behind your knees? It might not be arthritis…

Yesterday I shared how bad the pain behind my knees was…
and so many of you said “ME.”

Here’s the part most people don’t realize:
That pain isn’t always “just arthritis.”
For many women, especially with lipedema…
it’s inflammation, pressure, and fat buildup around the knee joint.

That’s why it can feel deep, con
stant, and exhausting.
If you’ve been told “everything looks normal”
but you KNOW something isn’t right…
you’re not crazy.

You might just be dealing with something that’s often missed. 🤍
