Coastal Pet First Aid

This info has been out there for a while, but it’s worth repeating given some recent post from pet parents about their pet becoming sick or dying .
Jerky treats and flavored treats can be harmful in ways beyond a choking hazard. Even commercially available dried fruits and vegetables have been an issue. A great deal of it goes back to the country of origin, but the exact causes still haven’t been determined to my knowledge.
Just be careful and stay safe!

We had a great class today at Animal Aide in Silverhill. I really appreciate being hosted at this location and all of the dedicated pet professional and loving pet parents that attended.

It’s been a long, tough, year for all of us. With 2021 around the corner I’m looking at the possibility of putting on some classes. I’m going to be reviewing protocols and best practices and as soon as I feel the classes can be presented in the safest way practical, I’ll start scheduling dates.

We had a great Pet First Aid/CPR class this Saturday in Daphne. Thank you to Susan’s Academy of Dance for hosting! Also; thanks to all of the area pet services that had members in the class; Each of these businesses have a high standard for professionalism and commitment to service.

New class dates coming soon!

Unfortunately last minute work commitments have forced me to cancel the April 28th class.
I hope that June will be better, and I will look to set a class up then probably at the same location.

We don't think about it much on the Gulf Coast, but pets can be vulnerable to frost bite!
Buddy doesn't like it, but his outside time today will be limited to brief trips over the course of the day .
