Hi everyone! It's officially my last week at The Hair Nest Salon, my last day will be March.28th. It has truly been great working here, I have learned so much & gained so so many valuable relationships.

I want to say a special Thank you to my wonderful co-stylists, all my wonderful clients thus far & everyone who has supported me in this journey. You all mean so much to me 💕

While I am saddened to leave I am so excited for the new adventure ahead! I can't wait to see both old & new faces in my new chair at KARMA SALON in Taylorville!!

Karma Salon is located at 101 W Main Cross St. Taylorville, IL.

✨ A Little New Year Update ✨

As we head into the new year, I wanted to share a small business update with you all 🤍

Starting Feb. 1st, 2026 I’ll be making some adjustments to my pricing. A few services — mainly color services — will be increasing, while many services will remain the same. That being said all appointments booked before Feb. 1st will be locked in at my current pricing, which is pinned on my page 😊

This decision wasn’t made lightly, but like many small businesses, the cost of professional products, supplies, and operating expenses has continued to rise. Adjusting my pricing allows me to continue using high-quality products, investing in education, and providing the level of service and care you deserve.

With this update, I’ll also be more firmly adhering to my listed prices. This helps keep things consistent, fair, and sustainable for my business, while still ensuring you always receive my best work and attention. I have attached the new service list along with a blurb on each service to better help you understand what each service means and which is best for you! I truly appreciate your understanding and continued support — it means more than you know.

I’m also considering setting up an online booking site to make scheduling appointments easier and more streamlined for everyone. A booking site would allow you to view availability, book at your convenience, and receive confirmations and reminders — while helping me manage my schedule more efficiently and accurately.

This past year taught me so much — not just about hair, but about growth, patience, confidence, and connection. Every appointment, every conversation, and every experience helped shape me into a better stylist and business owner, and I’m so thankful for that.
