Hi Soapy Friends,

After a lot of prayer and reflection, I’ve made the decision to close Handmade by Alicia and step away from my soap and bag business.

This little business has been such a fun and meaningful chapter of my life. What began as a creative outlet grew into something so much more, and getting to share the things I’ve made with all of you has been an incredible joy. Every batch of soap poured, every bag sewn, and every market morning spent talking with kind, supportive customers has been a gift.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who encouraged me, purchased something handmade, stopped by my booth, or simply followed along with my creative journey. Your support has meant the world to me and helped make this dream real for a season.

At this point in my life, I need to focus my time and energy on other priorities, and it feels like the right moment to turn the page to a new chapter. While this decision wasn’t easy, I’m thankful for everything this experience has given me. It’s taught me the true value of a handmade item, the worth of my time and creativity, and how to push past my own shyness to share something I made with pride.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing and selling my remaining inventory as a closing sale. If you’ve had your eye on something, this will be the final opportunity to take home a piece from Handmade by Alicia.
