Summer is here and the kids are all into fashion colors in their hair! Here is some friendly advice from your local hairdresser......please whatever you do DO NOT use kool-aid!!!! Fashion colors dont show up as vivid on brown hair. You have to lift the hair to blonde for it to be vibrant. Certain colors will show up on brown, like purple and blue. These colors stain!! Everything! Hands, faces, pillowcases, towels. Here is my professional opinion, if your child doesnt already have blonde or light brown hair purchase them some clip in extensions that are colored. Or they can have their hair lightened and colored by a professional. Or use the purple or blue. Pastels definitely will not show up in darker than pale blonde hair. The box color from walmart will not give you lavendar hair I promise!
