The 11th Annual 2026 25 On The Fly is officially in the books! What an incredible weekend celebrating one of the most unique fly fishing tournaments around.

A huge shoutout to Davis & Blake, who once again did an outstanding job judging the event. They worked through every scorecard with care, making the tough calls when measurements or photos didn’t quite meet the rules. You could tell they wanted to give every angler the benefit of the doubt, but keeping the tournament fair always came first. That’s what makes 25 On The Fly what it is.

The closing party at Odell Brewing was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable 48 hours. Friends and family packed in to celebrate as anglers swapped stories, relived heartbreaks and hero shots, traded high fives, and refueled with pizza and cold beers after chasing an ambitious list of 25 species on the fly.

To every competitor who took part—thank you. Your passion, sportsmanship, and willingness to embrace the challenge are what make this event so special year after year.

Together, we once again raised meaningful funds for Denver Trout Unlimited to support their continued conservation work on the South Platte River.

It’s no mystery that fly-fishing is synonymous with trout, however not all anglers live in close proximity to these well-known Salmonids.

All over the country there is a growing population of anglers that prefer species like Sunfish, Carp, Bass, Pike, and countless other species that will readily take a well-presented fly.

For the 10th year in a row, Anglers All Fly Shop in Colorado is hosting the “Mile High 25” to celebrate the fish species that don’t get the credit they deserve. This 2 day event in Colorado is a scavenger hunt/fishing tournament hybrid designed for anglers (teams of 2) to challenge themselves against the odds to catch as many species as possible in 1 weekend.

While most of the country experiences a slow decline in fishing opportunities over the month of November leading into the holidays, the Lone Star state provides! After 20 days of non-stop action the results are in!

What you need to know:
- The event is still FREE! Yes, free.
- Teams will use for species submissions.
- Register at LINK IN BIO to secure a team spot.

Swags bags will be shipped before the event for Teams registered by 10/25. Teams registered after 10/25 can still participate but they will receive specific control card instructions and will not be guaranteed a full swag bag.

Our friends in Colorado Springs, Canopy Fly Fishing are putting on a very cool event in June to get warmed up for the 25 On The Fly hosted by !

All lady anglers, whether you are signed up the for Mile High 25 On The Fly already or not, are welcome to join this fun day on the water to learn how to catch many of our local warm water fishing species.

Warm water species make up a 15 of the 25 species on the list! Learning how to target these fish will give you great tools to compete during the event!
