The problem is finding out that all the extra effort, flexibility, problem-solving, and above-and-beyond work only mattered when it was benefiting someone else.

One thing nobody tells you?
Better clients usually show up after you stop making room for the wrong ones.
Every difficult client takes up space.
Every draining relationship takes up space.
Every obligation you secretly resent takes up space.
Sometimes growth isn’t adding more.
Sometimes it’s letting go.

This is not one of them. 😂
But every shower, toilet, oven, and mystery mess gets us one step closer to our goals.

You usually don’t notice the mess all at once.
It happens little by little.
Clutter.
Dust.
Laundry.
Dishes.
Life.
