Seven months. Multiple appointments. Countless hours behind the chair. Every decision was made with one goal in mind: getting her back to platinum blonde without sacrificing the health of her hair.

This journey has been all about trusting the process. Instead of rushing, we’ve taken our time, prioritized the integrity of her hair, and celebrated every milestone along the way.
Today’s appointment gave us one of our biggest jumps forward yet, and seeing her reaction made every hour worth it. 🥹

After our consultation and Malibu CPR treatment, it was time to put our game plan into action.

Every head of hair is different, especially during a color correction. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all formula or timeline. Every step is based on how the hair responds that day, and sometimes you have to adjust your plan as you go.

This appointment gave us a bigger step forward than we were expecting, but the goal never changes: protect the integrity of the hair while working toward that bright platinum blonde

Every major transformation starts with a plan.

This is month 7 of taking my client’s hair from black back to platinum blonde, and every appointment starts the same way: a thorough consultation. We check the condition of her hair, talk through our options, and make a game plan before mixing a single bowl of lightener.

Our biggest priority has always been keeping her hair healthy, which is why we’ve been slowly cutting it into a bob while lightening over multiple appointments. Healthy hair always wins over rushing the process.

I often say my brain is like a hummingbird because my thoughts are constantly going, go go go go go, bouncing from one random thought to the next. 😂

So just know that during that 15-minute shampoo, I’ve probably had approximately 1,800 completely unrelated thoughts ranging from, “Did I remember to switch the laundry?” to “What even is consciousness?”

But if it’s any consolation, you’ll also be getting the scalp massage of your life. 💆‍♀️✨
