This Thursday at 1 PM Mountain Time, I’ll be one of FOUR regional finalists competing for the BBB Sparks Award for Entrepreneurship! 🏆

I'm up against some incredible businesses, but I'm bringing something a little different to the table.

I'm not just representing Two Sisters Tallow. I'm representing the hardworking agricultural community I've poured my heart into supporting. The ranchers I work alongside deserve recognition for what they do, and I've made it my mission to help them turn overlooked resources into additional profitability.

Of course I want to win this for myself. But more than anything, I want this win for the ranchers who deserve a seat at the table, too.

Win or lose, I'm proud of what we're building together. 🤍

I’m pretty happy summer is coming to an end because I can finally stop stressing about tallow melting in the mail. 😂

We’ve been shipping orders to Texas and Nevada and while Idaho is cooling off, some of you are still HOT. 🔥

Just a little reminder — if you have an order coming, please don’t leave it sitting in your mailbox all day. Tallow is fat…it melts. 😂 If it does get a little soft, it’s still perfectly fine to use, but getting it inside quickly will help keep the texture the way it’s supposed to be.

Every new shelf we get to sit on means so much to us. Feeling incredibly thankful for the local businesses that continue to support what we're building.

Earlier this year, Two Sisters Tallow was nominated for the 2026 BBB Spark Awards for Entrepreneurship.

When we received the nomination, I remember telling my sister, “We were nominated, so I might as well apply but don't think we're winning anything”. 😂

There was an application. There was an interview. I genuinely didn’t think we had much of a chance of actually winning.

Well… today I opened an email from the BBB and found out that Two Sisters Tallow has officially been named a FINALIST — one of the TOP FIVE businesses selected regionally! 😭🤍

I’m honestly still processing that.

We started this little business less than a year ago. Two sisters. Seven kids between us. Small batches made by hand. A whole lot of late nights, learning as we go, taking chances.

And somehow this little Idaho tallow business is now sitting in the top five for a regional BBB entrepreneurship award.

The award recognizes businesses that are building with integrity, character, and culture, and THAT is what makes this recognition mean so much to us.
We have worked incredibly hard to build Two Sisters Tallow the right way and create something we can genuinely be proud of.

I thought we were just lucky to be nominated.

Now we actually have a shot at winning. 🥹

Winners will be announced October 29th!

Whatever happens next, this one already feels pretty dang special.
