This is basically just a post of gratitude (I need to be better at practicing this lol) I love my job and my workplace and would do it for free if I could…I’ve realized how much I enjoy educating and being a mentor figure. Even if I’m not the best at it yet it’s one of the most fulfilling feelings I’ve ever experienced.

On top of that, having access to continued education even just through co workers is such a great opportunity (which is one reason I hate working alone). I am so grateful that I get to build something awesome with one of my best friends and have the opportunity to educate at the same time! 🤩

It’s difficult to tell from the photo but my client came in with a very warm band on top and brassy color on the bottom half of her head due to permanent color…

What I see often is too many traditional highlights which doesn’t disguise the darker areas of regrowth and also creates a very one dimensional result.

Avoiding over-highlighting and making sure to follow the client’s gray pattern always makes for a more natural outcome!
