When I first went solo, I thought I just needed to keep posting on Instagram and wait for people to find me.
They didn’t.
I wasn’t fully booked because people didn’t know I existed.
Everything changed when I started showing up where my local clients were already spending their time.
For me, that was local Facebook groups.
Over the next 7 months, I went from 0 to over 100 clients. Not because I became a better esthetician overnight but because more people finally knew I was there.
If you’re a new solo esthetician, stop waiting to be discovered.
I know Facebook groups get a bad reputation sometimes, but they’ve honestly been one of the biggest reasons my business grew. They’re still a huge part of how I get new clients today.

Seven months ago, I was asking myself the same question...

So instead of waiting for clients to magically find me, I started posting discounted model spots in local Facebook groups and on Nextdoor in exchange for photos and videos. Every appointment gave me more content, more social proof, and more confidence.
That one strategy helped me grow from 0 to 50 clients in about 90 days.

Not everyone wants a soft, natural brow... and that’s exactly why every appointment starts with a consultation. 🤍
This client told me she wanted thick, defined brows. So I customized her shape, lamination, and stain to create the look she was after.
One of my favorite things about brows is that there isn’t one “perfect” style.
✨ Some clients want soft and subtle.
✨ Some want fluffy and natural.
✨ And some want a bold, defined statement brow.
