Two words: Silk. Pillowcase. There's less friction between your hair and the pillowcase when it's silk, which results in less snagging, leaving you with less frizz and in tact curls/style in the morning. Cotton pillowcases can draw moisture out of your hair, drying it out and making it more prone to damage. With silk, your hair is able to retain its moisture. They can be a little pricier than cotton, but your hair will think it's worth every penny! 💰⁠

The key is focusing on your SCALP. Wash, rinse, and actually repeat. When you do that, the rest of your hair (midshaft through the ends) will get washed naturally.
