This order was worth tipping my hat for. Creating this little cowboy baby shower set was such a fun way to celebrate a new adventure that's about to begin. Wishing this growing family all the happiness as they welcome their newest little cowboy.

As a military spouse, Change of Command ceremonies have always meant something more to me. They aren't simply a change in leadership, they represent years of sacrifice, resilience, long nights, missed birthdays and holidays, countless moves, and an entire family walking alongside the service member every step of the way.

When I'm creating a set like this, I spend hours planning, baking, decorating, and carefully piping every tiny detail until each cookie feels just right. Somewhere between mixing icing and adding those final details, I always find myself wondering about the story behind the name. The years of dedication it took to earn this moment. The challenges overcome. The people who believed in them. And the responsibility they're about to carry as they step into this new role.

That perspective is what makes these cookies so much more than dessert to me.

I'm incredibly honored and humbled every time I'm trusted to create something that helps celebrate such a monumental milestone. Getting to use my hands to recognize years of service, leadership, and sacrifice is one of the greatest privileges of this little business.

Running a bakery from home is basically just playing a daily game of, "Why did I come into this room?" I sit down to answer one email... suddenly I'm folding towels, unloading the dishwasher, watering plants, and contemplating repainting the guest bathroom. Meanwhile the cookies are patiently waiting for me to remember they exist.

Thankfully, your orders always snap me back into reality. The last few days have been incredibly busy, and I couldn't be more grateful. Every order supports this crazy little dream, and I honestly wouldn't want it any other way, even on the days my ADHD decides the laundry is suddenly a higher priority than royal icing.

Thanks for keeping me busy... and giving me an excuse to ignore the laundry tomorrow.
