Today I’m not only grieving three months of you being gone, I’m also grieving because it’s the day after burying my grandmother. There were plenty of times when we would talk about us having to be there for one another as we navigated difficult times like this. Never did I imagine I’d be dealing with all this alone. You were always suppose to be there to hold me as I cried and remind me that everything would be okay and as you would say “I got you.” But here I am navigating this with your words of wisdom ringing in my ear constantly wishing I felt your embrace to bring some comfort. Life doesn’t seem to be getting easier and I hate how you’re not here to tell me “you’re going to be fine honey.” Because most days I don’t feel fine at all. I miss you more and more everyday Jamarion and I can’t wait for the day I see you again. 🤍🖤🕊️
