Touch ups are worth it alone for the peace of mind but especially if you have hair that may not hold a curl and you want your hair down on your wedding day.
My gorgeous bride, Kelly, wanted her thick and gorgeous hair in the trendy twist back on each side hairstyle but was concerned her hair would not hold depending on what type of weather she got in her wedding day. Luckily she got an absolutely stunning May day with a touch of wind so when I met her back for touchups at the gorgeous village club at lake success she really only needed a touchup on her face frame and the pieces that were out in front so I got to styling again and recreated the look for her. She was ready to party the night away with her hubby and her hair lasted all night!

Here’s how mt brides hair lasted 12+ hours on a windy beach:
🤍 prepped her hair with products focused on grip/texture
🤍 had ✌🏻packs of extensions washed already before use
🤍 used glue to lock her hairstyle in
Brenda wanted these gorgeous beach waves to pair perfectly with her Long Island beach wedding venue, Oceanbleu ! It paired perfectly with her wedding dress & getting ready dress 😍 but we had to make sure it lasted through her beach ceremony and lots of wind (and hair whipping on the dance floor!)

We all know the glam wave isn’t a flexible hairstyle.
You have to be so careful with it, you’ll need touch ups and potentially extensions.
What’s trending right now is the fluffy glam wave. It’s a more flexible version of it where if you want to move the hair in front or off your shoulders you have the option to do so without messing the entire style up and it looks amazing & lasts!

My stunning bride, Blayne, wanted a clean low bun. We had some extra time so I did a mock bun to be sure it wasn’t too large and was low enough and once she was happy I secured it! Her reaction says it all and she was ready to marry the love of her life 🤍

“Can I change my hairstyle from the trial?!”
The answer will always be absolutely! Swipe through and see my story from Caelyn’s wedding day!
Because I had a few extra minutes, I had decided to show Caelyn what the style would look like on her, but of course it’s hard to see with clips in your hair so we decided on a mix of both a lower French twist from my Instagram with her higher French twist we did at her trial.
After seeing the lower part, she decided she didn’t love it because she really wanted that snatched elevated feeling and she felt so bad making me take it down, but I told her to stop apologizing because if we hadn’t tried, she would’ve never known which style would’ve been perfect and I didn’t want her to have any regrets. This is why I always build extra time into my schedule so I got to work and threw her into this gorgeous soft and romantic French twist which we all loved and lasted all night😍🤍

I love a structured glam wave and that’s perfect for the bride with finer hair that doesn’t like to hold but I will say the softer glam wave is taking 2026 by storm and for good reason!
It’s a more moveable look where if you have a structured glam wave, you cannot move or touch your hair!
