Hayti was built by Black enterprise and on Saturday, August 8, we’re honoring that inheritance and carrying it forward.

Chai’s Healing Corner will be at the inaugural Hayti Business Expo at the Hayti Heritage Center, alongside 70+ Black-owned businesses. Grocers, tailors, insurers, and dreamers built this neighborhood.

On August 8, come meet the ones building it now.

Some days I’m inspired by the slightest thing.. this time it was a freestyle in the car after putting together my 🤎R&B Tour🤎concert outfit.. Not sure if the outfit would get here on time annnnnnd fit.. baby, I was expecting a lot out of SHEIN in 6 days okayyyyy😮‍💨😮‍💨

But then a whole new problem presented itself…. SHOES⁉️

Last week’s recap.. I worked hard and played harder🙌🏽🥰🌻🎙️🤎🔥

•I was invited to a networking event in Winston Salem *Pitch & Present* where I watched a new business pitch their business and present an issue they are experiencing and the audience has to provide a solution that they think would help the entrepreneur 🙌🏽

•I participated in a small business workshop to which I was invited by Guilford County’s Small Business Entrepreneurship Coalition —where we learned about marketing and advertising strategies and financial investments, losses and responsibilities as a business owner… to which after we certified —We got out there to make some monies, honeyyyyy… They orchestrated a pop up event for us🥹‼️🫂😭🙌🏽 (all free and they fed us…. Listen… Yall paying for it in yall tax dollars… see what resources are out there!!)

•I made it to the R&B Concert in Charlotte Friday night to see 🤎🤎🤎MY MAN.. MY MAN.. MY MAN🤎🤎🤎….couldnt stay the whole night…. I had responsibilities the next morning 😮‍💨😮‍💨

•I made it (not on time but in Divine Time🤭) to the SBED Pop Up Shop‼️‼️

•Sunday FUNDay ended with the Black Excellence Pop Up at the Phillip’s Ave Dollar General in Greensboro ….where I won the raffle of a FREE VENDOR SPACE for the biiiiiiiig NC BLACK EXCELLENCE POP UP MARKET (Date to be announced) Galloway Bespoke Events

Monday and Tuesday I was supposed to be sleep… but I’m hard headed 🙃 annnnnd somehow found myself at The Green Room ..on stage🤭🎙️💚🥰🗣️

What a doozy… I definitely bit off more than I can chew—but it was worth it and I’d do it all again… especially going to see Breezy🤭🤎🙌🏽
