Sometimes healing looks like a simple glass of ice water.
For the past 67 days, my life has looked a little different.
I'm learning that healing isn't always found in big moments. Sometimes it's found in the small things...rest, hydration, listening to your body, and giving yourself grace.
Before my second chemotherapy treatment, I spent time doing what brings me peace—making soap, creating products, and working on my upcoming Second Wind Life Journal.
My happy place has always been creating.
Creating reminds me that even in difficult seasons, beautiful things can still be made.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to support Pampered Sisters during this season. Every order, every message, every prayer, and every word of encouragement has meant more than you'll ever know.
Life may slow us down...
But it doesn't have to stop us.
Here's to living intentionally, embracing every season, and finding joy in the journey.
Always...
Live Intentionally Pampered.

Before the emails...
Before the orders...
Before the to-do list...
I stepped outside this morning.
The birds were singing, Mr. Rooster was making sure everyone was awake, and the morning sun was quietly making its way through the clouds.
I tried to capture the birds in a picture, but instead I captured the light.
It reminded me that God's creation keeps moving exactly as He intended.
Sometimes we spend so much energy chasing tomorrow that we forget to enjoy today.
This season has reminded me that self-care isn't always a spa day or a bath.
Sometimes self-care is simply stepping outside...
Taking a deep breath...
Looking up...
And thanking God for another day.
At Pampered Sisters, we've always believed that intentional moments matter.
This week, I hope you find a few quiet moments to simply be.
Have a wonderful week...
Live Intentionally. 💜

👍 A Little Health Update from Chris
I've been a little quieter than usual this past week, and I wanted to check in.
I just completed my second chemotherapy treatment, and this time I made a promise to myself that I would actually follow my doctor's instructions.
That meant resting when I was tired, resting when I was sore, drinking plenty of water, and allowing my body the time it needed to heal.
As business owners, we're used to pushing through everything. This week reminded me that sometimes the strongest thing we can do is simply slow down.
The work will still be there tomorrow.
Orders, emails, and projects can wait.
My health can't.
Thank you for your patience, your continued support of Pampered Sisters, and for every prayer and encouraging message you've sent my way.
I also filmed a vlog during this past week that I'll be sharing soon. I hope it encourages someone else who may be walking through a difficult season.
Until then...
👍 Still here.
👍 Still grateful.
👍 Still intentionally moving forward.
With love,
Chris

Happy Tuesday FB!
Self-care isn't always about a spa day or a bubble bath. Sometimes it's simply taking a moment to laugh.
Have you ever had one of those random memories pop into your head that makes you burst out laughing?
You know the one... it sounded like a great idea at the time, quickly became a terrible idea, and years later it still has you laughing until you cry.
Those moments remind us not to take life so seriously. They remind us to smile, laugh at ourselves, and appreciate the journey that got us here.
Today, I hope you find something that makes you laugh from the bottom of your heart.
If you have one of those unforgettable memories, leave "Laughing Right Now" in the comments. No explanation needed. Some stories are just too funny to tell. 😂💜
Wishing you laughter, joy, and a little intentional pampering today.

One of the greatest blessings during difficult seasons is being surrounded by people who lead with kindness.
My sweet friends Chef Nettie and sister, Jay Pleasant, the owner of Gorgeous Blooms at https://www.instagram.com/gorgeousblooms/ , surprised me with this beautiful custom bouquet called "Faith." Every flower, Scripture, ribbon, and keepsake was intentionally chosen to encourage me during my cancer journey.
As someone who spends my days creating handcrafted products that I hope make others feel loved and cared for, this bouquet reminded me that true craftsmanship isn't just about making something beautiful—it's about creating something that speaks to someone's heart.
Thank you to everyone who has continued praying, checking on me, sending messages, and encouraging me along the way. Your kindness has meant more than you know.
I'm grateful for every prayer, every order, every encouraging word, and every person walking beside me through this season.
With love,
Chris

Some of the biggest lessons in life come from the things we never expected to struggle with.
For me, one of those things has been drinking water.
During my chemotherapy journey, my blood pressure dropped to 80/58, and I needed a hydration infusion. My doctors reminded me how important it is to stay hydrated—not only to support healthy blood pressure, but also to help my body recover, support my kidneys, and help process the chemotherapy medications after each treatment.
If you know me, you know water has never been my favorite drink. But this journey has taught me that sometimes self-care isn't glamorous. Sometimes it's simply taking another sip, even when you don't feel like it.
As my cousin and I laughed about why we both dislike water, we remembered being kids, playing outside all day, and hearing, "If you come in, you're staying in... drink from the water hose!" Maybe that's where it all started!
Every day I'm reminded that taking care of ourselves often comes down to the little things.
Whether your journey is cancer treatment, caring for your family, or simply trying to be healthier, don't underestimate the power of the basics. Rest. Water. Nourishment. Grace.
Thank you all for continuing to walk this journey with me and for your prayers and encouragement. They mean more than you'll ever know.

Pampered Sisters has always been about more than handcrafted products. It has always been about caring for ourselves—mind, body, and spirit.
Today I'm sharing my newest YouTube vlog covering Day 32 through Day 44 of my breast cancer journey. It includes the haircut I never wanted, my first chemotherapy treatment, the difficult days afterward, and the hope I found one week later.
This video also includes the release of my original song, "Intentionally Pampered," inspired by a poem I wrote during this season of life. Writing has always been one way I process life's challenges, and turning those words into music made this chapter even more meaningful.
Thank you for supporting Pampered Sisters, for your prayers, and for continuing to walk this journey with me.
I hope this video reminds you to care for yourself, treasure each day, and never lose hope.
💜 Live intentionally.
💜 Love deeply.
💜 Never lose hope.

The good chemo munchies finally showed up!
This morning at 3:43 a.m., I woke up with something I haven't had much of this past week... an appetite.
After several days of chemo recovery, pain, and low blood pressure, my body finally said, "Feed me!"
So I kept it simple—a good old-fashioned microwave baked potato. Sometimes the foods that bring us the most comfort are the simplest ones.
As the maker behind Pampered Sisters, I often talk about self-care. This week, self-care wasn't a luxurious bath or lighting a candle. It was listening to my body, celebrating a returning appetite, and being grateful for every small step forward.
Healing isn't always dramatic. Sometimes it looks like a baked potato at 3:43 in the morning.
Thank you all for continuing to pray for me and encourage me. Every message means more than you know.

A little life update...
This week I completed my first chemotherapy treatment.
The days that followed were some of the hardest I've experienced, but today I woke up feeling like the first round had finally passed. For that, I am incredibly thankful.
I want to thank each of you who has reached out with prayers, encouraging messages, cards, and kind words. Your support has meant more than you know.
Because so many of you have asked how I'm doing, I've been documenting this journey. I'll be sharing a vlog soon that begins with one of the hardest decisions—cutting my hair—and follows my first chemotherapy treatment and recovery.
My hope is that it not only keeps you updated, but also encourages someone else who may be facing a difficult season.
Thank you for continuing to support Pampered Sisters and for allowing me the grace to take care of myself while continuing to do what I love.
With gratitude,
Chris 💜
