Some days are plain flat harder than others, but that's real life. It's especially true for those, like me, that suffer from anxiety and depression. Sometimes it's all I can do to get out of bed to even "take care" of myself. I'm very blessed to have a family that loves and supports me all the time! The important thing is to never, I mean NEVER give up! Take a day or two to reset yourself, that's fine and necessary sometimes. Part of my story, maybe just like you, is that in the past few years I have realized that it's my responsibility to change things if they aren't working for me or serving me in my soul's journey. Other people's energy can either suck the life out of you or breathe it back in, but the choice is yours to stick around or not. I've made many changes lately that have not been easy ones, but I know down the road they will have been the right ones. So rest if you need it. There is always later in the day or even tomorrow to "do" what is on your list. There is no replacement for you! ❤️

Being a people pleaser is a real problem for me. I know that sounds like it's not that bad of a thing, but honestly it leads to a LOT of self-doubt, anxiety, and depression. I have all 3 of these things. But I'm learning and have been on a journey to become a better version of me for quite sometime now. The journey isn't over, obviously, but it is a journey. One of the main things I'm learning is that I can't give copious amounts of love and attention if I don't first give it to myself. Sounds easy, right?? It's a simple thing to do but have to consciously remind myself daily.
