N.O.W.S.A. is dedicated to teaching personal safety and sharing violence prevention initiatives that are critical for raising awareness about violence against women and teens.

N.O.W.S.A. feels that this is an exceptionally important initiative. According to The Hill, “Police departments across the country are reporting a spike in domestic violence cases as stay-at-home orders put victims and their abusers in constant proximity. Experts who study domestic violence say the increases, however, are almost certainly under reported because some victims cannot get away from their abusers to call police.” Additionally, financial stress is one of the key factors leading to violence and abuse of every form.
