Isn’t it funny how we often want the hair we weren’t born with? Those with straight locks long for volume and curls, while curly-haired girls like me have spent years (and more money than I’d like to admit) trying to straighten, smooth, and tame our natural texture. For most of my life, I resisted my curls—until recently. After sixty years, I’ve finally made peace with my ringlets and discovered how to work with them, not against them.
