Dear LBI Squad,

As we close out another year, I wanted to take a moment to speak from the heart. Year six… whew. This one stretched me, challenged me, and reminded me exactly why I started Lipstick By Imani in the first place.

2025 was a behind-the-scenes battle. When you’re a small business owner, you learn quickly that if you make fifteen cents, somebody wants ten. Add in tariffs, a manufacturer in Canada, waiting on USTO approvals, and funding everything out of pocket because banks aren’t checking for most of us, listen, it’s been a journey.

But here’s the part that humbles me: we’re still here.
If we survived a pandemic, when folks were wearing masks with their lipstick on underneath (yes, that was real!), and still sold over a thousand tubes, then we can survive anything.

So yes, year six came with its lessons, but I’m charging 2025 to the game. Through it all, Lipstick By Imani never stopped. We never stopped selling. We never stopped inspiring. And we never stopped believing.

I’m officially closing my calendar for the rest of the year to focus completely on the brand. We never left, but we’re coming back stronger, revived, intentional, and ready. Our in-person networking events are returning, and the expansion plan is already in motion. I’m excited for you to see what we’ve been quietly building. Sometimes you need a season of silence… and 2025 was mine. You know me: less talk, more action.

Now it’s time to reignite and execute.

2026 is the year of REIGNITION.
