I am 10 years old Spiritually!!! *Whoop Whoop* 💃🏾

I used to look up to those that were older than me spiritually and think they had it all together lol Then I get here and feel like there is still so much I don’t know and they don’t either lol But these past 10 years has truly taught me that strong is overrated. I used to aspire to be a leader that someone could look up to and felt like I needed to be an expert at all of the things, but that was way too much pressure to put on myself. Over the years, I have had sorrow and joy, with death knocking on the front door(seems like yearly), moments of victory and failure, times of faith and times of fear, times of dancing and times of tears. As the years have gone, I have learned that in this life I will face trials of many kinds, but as I go through them, sorrow and joy can hold space at the same time. Peace without understanding.

I don’t know what the next 10 years will bring, but I am grateful for the 10 years I lived and walked with God. Him and I, as he knows, I can be hard headed, compassionate, angry, loving, and a toddler who throws temper tantrums, yet he still chooses to love and be with me. I have never known a love like this before. I am grateful that God has slowed my schedule down, these last few weeks, so that I can sit in silence and seek his voice first. There so many things that can easily drown me, but his voice is helping me jump the waves 🌊 (I am still at the beach in my head lol) . I no longer want strive for perfection or to live someone else’s story, but I truly want to sit here at his feet and allow His faithful love to fill me up. For Him, in all, to be enough for me. ❤️‍🔥

P.S. I gifted myself a new bible this year. It wasn’t planned by me, God is like, you need a little fun in your life girl lol. So I am learning how to color with markers. This bible is really cool!
