Last week I shared my thoughts on retirement and a bunch of you fussed and cussed at me in the DMs. 🗣🤬
Reality is that I’m tired of living in doubt. I’ve been my worst critic. *Cue the speech Issa gave Lawrence in the Insecure finale.*
Honestly, my heart hasn’t been in my business since I went on maternity leave. My mind was so consumed with other stuff that I was just a body moving brushes around. Some instances I have no memory of what I was doing. 🥴

Anyway…What better way to reignite the passion than to thrust myself back in with a new year, updates, better time management and BOUNDARIES. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

So, I’m NOT RETIRING just yet. This is like the only thing I’ve done for myself, by myself. I won’t give up on my dream job that easy! 🤸🏽‍♀️🤩

My sweet Rosebud is 8 months today!! 🌹 I just love this new smile Rose is doing now! Full gums!! 🤤 And today we went to church for the first time since the pandemic began!! 🙌🏾 It felt like home. Thank you

Our last time going to church, we went to the altar for prayer for God to intercede and bless my womb. We were going through another miscarriage at the time. 😔👼🏾 Today was such a full circle moment to be back in the place where we brought our greatest request to God and for our church family to see Rose. We’re so thankful to God to blessing us with our sweet blossom. ☺️

Happy Halloween!!! 🎃👻💀 I just couldn’t get into the spirit until the last minute so Rose was Minnie Mouse for her 1st Halloween. 🤷🏽‍♀️ We did take her trick or treating…at the last minute and I’m so glad we did! It’s was fun seeing all the kiddos in costumes! Mommy and Daddy are going to enjoy eating all this candy!! 😂 Hope y’all had a fun and safe Halloween!!

We went from being set up by my friend, to dating with purpose, engaged, married and to a whole family! 🥰
We’ve thugged it out through some tough moments for sure. And through our pettiness (😂) we always managed to come back around to loving each other like we promised to do 3 years ago.

Transparent/Triggering moment: Last week, we had another painful miscarriage. This is our 3rd angel baby. 👼🏾👼🏾👼🏾 BUT we are not sad this time. We are grateful to God for the opportunity to carry, grateful for another angel and grateful to be encouraged to try again. We’re celebrating not being stuck in a negative mindset this time and enjoying the practice!! 😜

Our 1st time at a Pumpkin Patch!! 🎃 So happy that it was a visit to a Black, female owned farm in Houston! 🙌🏾 Thank you for this weekend, we enjoyed your farm and will be back next year!! 🤩
