It's Small Business Saturday!

A lot of people scoff at direct sales people calling their businesses, well, "businesses". And I get it, to a certain extent - it's me working for a company that is much larger. I get it.

But think of it as an independent franchise. I own it. I have customers. I'm selling them something that I love, that I believe in, that I use myself. The extra income (and yes, I have extra income) is helping my family pay bills, fund Christmas, fund my kids' college.

So shop small. Shop your friends. Shop with me! ❤️

On Wednesday, I left my comfort zone. Yes, I've been doing direct sales for 4.5 years now, but I'm STILL super uncomfortable selling things to people. I don't want to be pushy, or annoying, or awkward.... So I'm super self conscious when I approach someone.

Anyway, I did it, without being awkward, without being pushy, without being annoying. And it feels great!!! Now I'm thinking.... What other areas in my life could use a comfort zone "widening"?? How about you? Home, work, friends, family?
