Woke up this morning, grabbed my phone, checked my business email from bed… and this was the first thing I saw. 🥹✨

What an incredible way to start the day! I’m beyond honored and grateful to have been nominated as one of the 2026 Top 30 Influential Women of Texas.

A huge thank you to my amazing friend JJ Waddock with JJ Waddock Sail Away with JJ Travel Services for helping me book the perfect place for our Catalina Island getaway to celebrate Destiny Jimenez 29th birthday! ❤️

Our room Seaport Village Inn was absolutely incredible! It was like having our own little one-bedroom apartment. It had a full kitchen, dining room, a living room with a Murphy bed, and a separate bedroom with a queen bed. Although it was listed as sleeping 4, it honestly could have comfortably slept 6 to 8 people!

It was also on the first floor, which made everything so convenient, and it was only about a 2–4 minute walk to the beach, the boardwalk, and all the shops and restaurants. The location couldn’t have been better!

The best part? We only paid about $300 for the night, which was an amazing deal for everything we got.

Catalina Island was absolutely beautiful, and spending this special time with my daughter and my dad made the trip even more meaningful. We created memories that we’ll cherish forever.

Just last week, while I was in the middle of the ocean, Leo called me from home to tell me he loved me because he truly thought he wasn’t going to make it. In that moment, I was reminded that tomorrow is never promised and every moment together is a gift.

By the grace of God and our ancestors , he’s still here, and I couldn’t be more thankful. Loving you has always been the easiest part of my life.
