There’s a big “this or that” going on in the esthetics industry right now. It seems that facials are being put into two categories - “fluffy” and “results-oriented”. Things like massage, dim lighting, a cozy bed are being labeled as unnecessary fluff, while targeted treatments are “results-oriented”.

It’s kinda funny, because the two have existed together for decades, but now, all of a sudden it’s an either or. As a mom to a child with autism, I know how important regulation is for healing and growth. My daughter inspires a lot of what I do in my treatment room, from the calming music to the mood lighting, my goal is to provide a sensory escape from the outside world while we work towards your skin goals. No trend or false dichotomy will pressure me into changing that. 🤍
