Palmer's Barber Shop
Palmer's Barber Shop on Broad St, Sewickely, PA. Founded sometime in the late '30's or early 40's. Joseph Palmer Sr. and Jr. proprietors. in Sewickley, PA.
This page is dedicated to my Dad, Joe Palmer, and my Grandfather, Joseph Palmer and their barber shop that stood on Broad St. It had an untimely demise in January of 1965 (or was it '66?) from a fire at Yenkello's TV shop a few doors down. If you have any old photos or memories form this shop (or the one at the Holiday Inn), I would welcome them.
I saw the construction article for the borough building on Broad St. I mentioned that it would be cool to replicate the facade to look like old historical 429 Broad St. Palmer’s Barbershop and Canine Commissary.
Thinking about the future with Dad’s barber chair and cash register from the Broad St shop. Would love to have it on permanent display in Sewickley somewhere. Any suggestions?

I started a page in remembrance of some very good times growing up in the barber shop.
