The National Black Nurses Association is taking a stand against the U.S. Department of Education’s decision to exclude nursing from federal professional degree loan protections.

This ruling puts future nurses at risk, especially those from historically underserved communities. By limiting access to the advanced education needed to serve where care is needed most.
We are calling on national leaders to reverse this decision immediately and protect the future of the nursing workforce.

Pike High School Annual Mental Health Fair.

240+ participants and 62 vendors registered!

It was a pleasure to participate in this community event for mental health awareness to kick the stigma around Mental Health.

The Black Nurses Association of Indianapolis, Inc. was able to provide some teen mental health literature, blood pressure screenings, and provide health education to several youth and adults. Additionally, we enjoyed offering Nursing mentorship to the next generation of nurses.

Thank you for the opportunity to support your students and the community.
