Test burning your candles is a vital part of candle making.

It’s not only to test your hot throw (fragrance strength) but it’s to make sure you have the correct wick size to the size of your vessel.

If your melt pool doesn’t extend across the surface of your candle then you need to reevaluate the size of your wick and how many wicks you have in that vessel.
