From one woman with a vision… to a legacy built together 🤍
Each wave represents a year, a chapter, and a key part of the Gel Essentialz story.
It began with me in 2006, having no idea this journey would take me—literally—around the world. From the formation of our salon in 2011, to the thriving enterprise we are today, all under one roof, this story has been built with heart, passion, and unwavering dedication.
I am endlessly grateful for my Gelly Girls—the heart and soul of this business—and for the journey we’ve shared ✨
✨ Liz (2011) – my very first employee at this salon. She committed before we even opened and has been there from day one.
✨ Jenna (2011) – joined that same year and helped lay the foundation.
✨ Lisa, Jacki & my daughter Miranda (2013) – growing the team and the vision, and stepping in to care for my clients as I moved into my role as a full-time international educator.
✨ Maddy (2018) – officially joining us in the store and turning this into a true family business.
✨ Tanya (2019) – bringing passion, talent, and heart.
✨ Genesis (2023) – bringing fresh energy and growth to both the store and salon.
✨ Chelsey (2024) – making her mark through social media and brand presence.
✨ Jacey & Aja (2025) – the newest chapter of our story, dedicated to both the salon and store.

At Gel Essentialz, everything starts with our amazing owner, Gina, who’s been leading the way in the beauty industry since 2006. What began as a distribution business grew into something even more special — in 2011, she opened Gel Essentialz Salon 💅💫
Our talented team is made up of 8 incredible nail techs — Miranda, Liz, Jenna, Lisa, Tanya, Gen, and Jacey, plus Aja, who shines as both a nail tech and hair stylist, alongside Jacki, our fabulous hair stylist 💖✂️✨
After spending over 10 years in our Cranston location, we recently made the exciting move to our new, larger space in Johnston, and it has been such an amazing experience! 🏡✨ Being able to offer our loyal clients and customers a brand-new salon and professional store all under one roof has truly been a dream come true.
Each member of our team brings years of experience, creativity, and passion to the beauty industry, and together we’ve built something truly special — a space where professionals, clients, and the nail community come together to learn, grow, and be inspired 💕
