What Is A Biological Dentist?
A biological dentist, also known as a holistic or natural dentist, operates under the fundamental belief that oral health is intricately connected to overall well-being. Dr. Ilona Fotek✨ had completed her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Jagiellonian University School of Dentistry in Poland in 2002 and acquired additional training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She later followed her education in Graduate Operative Dentistry which she completed receiving a master’s degree in science from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Furthermore, she was appointed to a university teaching position, educating dental students and reinforcing specific concepts learned during her residency.

Dr. Paul Fotek🦷 is a native of Poland but grew up in Toronto, Canada. He attended the University of Toronto and in 2002 he earned his Dental Degree in Poland where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class. Dr. Fotek then completed his post-doctoral specialty training at the University of Michigan, when in 2007, he received his Certificate in Periodontics, along with a Master of Science degree, from the University of Michigan. During his residency at the University of Michigan, Dr. Fotek was a Clinical and Surgical Instructor in the undergraduate dental clinic, worked as a periodontist at the VA Hospital, and was awarded a teaching fellowship which he completed at the end of his residency. He also held an appointment as a surgical instructor for General Dentists.
