We are so excited to be back at thevinebarnkzoo for the season!

Come join us for Sauna, Cold Plunge, and S’mores starting Sunday 10/4! We will be at the Vine Barn Wednesdays at 6:30 and Sundays at 3:30 through the season, tickets and calendar are available in bio 🔥

You’d think the hottest month would be the slowest for sauna, but July was a busy and incredible month for us.

We were fortunate to collaborate with amazing friends, businesses, and events. We are so inspired by each and every every one of these businesses and what they are creating.

A big thank you to Laurel Day | Do Something Co. for curating a beautiful evening retreat at the unique Riverfront Wedding & Event Venue | Michigan .

Thank you to Earthcraft Skillshare and Brenna Rae Pixley for creating an unforgettable weekend and gathering an amazing array of skills and crafts to remind us how we are meant to live. And being Juni’s first camping ⛺️experience. *special shout out to Corinne🪞White Pine Rising and blackrivermoon for being Juni’s favorite moment of the summer (still talks about it).

Thank you to Shades of Lavender Farm for offering such a special space amongst the lavender, trees, and animals.

Thank you to ignitestudiosmi for always bringing the 🔥 and bringing that Jersey to Michigan. Veronica Dark adding sound bowls to plunge is a whole experience. Also, to Wskd Matcha for not just the matcha, but great energy.

Aaaand last but not least, Kara Markovich and The Origami House putting on another amazing sound + sauna event with a special group of people. Honored to work with you.

If you’re new to us and would like to partner in the future, just send a message! We are keeping things slow in August in preparation for what’s coming this fall 🍁, so keep your eyes peeled!

See you in the sauna 🔥

In May I met with Kara at The Origami House to brainstorm ways we can bring sound and sauna together.

I was instantly drawn to Kara’s grounded presence and how the space felt so full of possibilities. We held our first Sound + Sauna and were already discussing when we could do another event!

Sound and sauna complement one another because they influence different but connected systems in the body. Sound helps guide attention, regulate breathing patterns, and support a shift toward a calmer nervous system state. Sauna works through heat, increasing circulation and helping the body release tension. Together, they create conditions that make relaxation more accessible and often more profound than either practice alone.

Sound + Sauna is being held again Thursday 7/30 and right now there are only two spots left! You can sign up at the link in my bio and keep an eye out for another event in the fall.

See you in the Sauna 🔥

We’re super excited to be a part of Earthcraft Skillshare this year, among other incredible people sharing their gifts and skills. If you’re going, find where we’ll be on the map and come sauna with us in the evening. Make sure to bring your suit and towel!

If you’re not, you should be! This is such a unique offering. I believe some tickets are still available.

Earthcraft Skillshare is a build-your-own-adventure camp- try a little of everything or dig in on one or two skills with masters and enthusiasts who want to share their treasure with you.

We had so much fun making this map, by real human artists Ashley and Churu ❤️.

So grateful for Meagan Casterline holding the sauna down while we were traveling for 2 weeks!

We were in Bali during the holidays of Galungan and Kunignan, that celebrate the triumph of good over evil. The Balinese people celebrate with their families by placing offerings around their homes and shrines every day for 10 days.

A new friend I met, Divine Golden Morning tour., explained to me that the offerings are meant as a “thank you” to the universe for the opportunity to wake up and live life in this world where there is so much beauty and love.

In all the hustle and bustle of life it’s easy to forget this. At home our lifestyle looks a lot different, but I think there’s an opportunity to bring the ritual and devotion in, no matter where you are.

For me, I realized that the sauna has been where I can slow down, be in my body, and feel all that I have to be grateful for.

Now that we’re back, we’ll be sharing more about what’s coming up this month with Juniper and Co. Sauna. 🙏🏼
