Journey Skincare provides exceptional acne treatment and rejuvenating skincare services in the Kansas City area.
This wasn’t an easy decision.
Journey Skincare has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. For the past 7 years, this space has held conversations, transformations, tears, breakthroughs, laughter, and so much growth for my clients and for me.
Over the last few months, I’ve taken time to really reflect on where I am and what I want next. And while closing my physical studio in mid-April feels bittersweet, it also feels right.
I’m not disappearing. I’ll still be offering virtual consultations and drop-shipped skincare for those who want to continue their journey with me. I’ll also be stepping into some business coaching and freelance work as I explore what this next season looks like.
This pivot is about being present with my family, supporting my kids as they head into a busy sports season, and taking care of my mental and physical health. It’s about choosing alignment over attachment.
To every single client who trusted me with your skin and your story, thank you. You’ve supported my family more than you know, and I will always be grateful.
This isn’t the end. It’s just a new chapter. 🤍

What you’re seeing here isn’t blackheads. These are sebaceous filaments, and they’re a normal part of the skin. Their job is to move oil from inside the pore to the surface.
They don’t *have* to be removed, but they should be maintained so they don’t turn into clogged pores or blackheads.
Professional extractions are the safest and most effective way to manage them. At home, ingredients like salicylic acid, mandelic acid, and retinoids help support cell turnover and keep pores flowing normally.
