It’s Thursday, so I pull a rune to be my next guide/teacher/point of reflection for the next week.
Dagaz is the moment between night and day. It is the changing of a situation, the light at the end of the tunnel, or the art of being in two phases at once. It is hope that no matter how uncertain things may feel or how little you can see ahead, the light is coming.
What I love about this rune is that it has taught me that you can look ahead to hope while still acknowledging that you’re currently in the dark. It does not dismiss our concerns or tell us to look to brighter days without also accounting for the importance of the moment we are experiencing.
Your time in the dark was not nothing, but the cycle of a new day can be counted on.

I’ve spent a decent chunk of the day so far writing and outlining plans of what to write.
Through this process I was reminded that writing is a very spiritual act itself. To take thought and transform it into something that has a form and can be shared is something we often take for granted.
Today, I feel like I am more present in my spiritual path just by taking the time to set the space with a candle and put some dedicated focus to crafting my thoughts into written words.
Thoughts on seiðr, the runes, tarot, and meditation. Thoughts on how we interact with the world and how modern spirituality can actually pull us away from the more sincere elements of our spiritual paths.
A lot of this has come simply from journaling again, which has become a key pillar of my spiritual practice now despite how many times I want to skip it lol.
How do you choose to let your thoughts take form? Is it through writing, vlogging, art, or something else?
Nothing feels as magical and connected to the divine as beautiful moments like this from nature 💚

I celebrated Beltane by working my booth at the Conscious Living Expo ( ) this year, followed by a couple of days spent with the garden and nature around me.
The trees are fully awake, the rose bushes are starting to show off, and the wildflowers I scattered seeds for last year are now introducing themselves.
This is a time of beauty and of stopping to appreciate not only the growth all around you, but how that growth is echoed in your own spirit as well. To literally stop and smell the roses and consider the work that went into these blooms last year. Growth takes time and investment in progress you won’t see for a while.
This year’s Beltane was amazing, I can’t wait to see what next year brings!
