Riding With Kollyns

I always tend to be a few days late 😂 but 4 months with this little girl have flown by! ❤️

Our helmet fitting the other day went well! Kollyn’s head is growing out and catching up to where it should. This little girl is all smiles!

This last month has been super busy, but we wanted to jump on here and give everyone an update on Kollyns! She is doing so well! She is growing and meeting milestones! We are “adapting” to the helmet for the most part. Night time is pretty rough still. She has her first helmet adjustment tomorrow and we are hoping and expect to hear that things are going as they should be!

We finally got our helmet yesterday ❤️ it’s definitely going to be an adjustment but Kollyns is working hard on staying a happy girl through it 😍 her stitches in both incisions are mostly gone and they are looking amazing!

We are a week post surgery and Miss Kollyns is doing amazing! She has sure taken everything thrown at her in stride. ❤️ We go to get fitted for a helmet on Monday, and then back to post op appointment the next week and hopefully picking up her helmet that week as well. Kollyns would like to wish everyone following her journey a very Merry Christmas 🎄❤️

Kollyns had an amazing night and passed all her checks this morning with flying colors ❤️ they just got loaded up and are headed home! They’ll have multiple appointments over the next couple month for post op checks and helmet fittings then hopefully they slow down a little bit into only a couple a month for a while. ❤️

They have had some rough patches but things are sure looking positive and man this shows how resilient these babies are! Miss Kollyns has really tried to smile through the discomfort. All of the prayers for her and her family have not gone unnoticed! Thank you!

Surgery is done and they are in their room! Surgery went well! Kollyns is having a little bit of a rough time coming out of anesthesia. The care team is working hard to keep her as comfortable as possible. We are so happy to see her on the healing side of this!

They’ve made it to Utah and have gotten all their pre-op stuff out of the way! Settled into the hotel room for the night and will report to the hospital first thing for surgery. Thank you again for the outpouring of prayers and support! ❤️ we’ll let you know as soon as this cute girl is out of surgery and on her way to recovery.
