Massage therapy, good massage therapy boils down to details not pressure. Fox Muscle and Joint therapists plan every massage session based on a treatment plan developed with the patient by their practitioner from day one to the end of the session package or a long term membership. Single sessions are available as well as extended sessions. We love to custom fit your therapy and cover every detail a client may need to achieve better wellness.

A Digital detoxification that was long long overdue. The scary part is my own reading comprehension and attention span. I constantly find myself losing my place, feeling awkward holding pages open, and staying focused. Not afraid to blame it all on spending too much time on my phone. Here’s the bottom line and I hope Meta listens. I’m sick of Ads, I’m sick of political posts, I’m sick Ai garbage. However I’m fine with just moving on and finding other ways to spend my time.

The best free therapy for anxiety that I give is this. On evenings that are partly cloudy take a 20-30 minute walk before sundown. Try to do it the last 30 minutes of daylight. We spend a lot of time during the day being deprived of seeing any perspective and or horizon. A quick 20-30 minute walk will reset your brain, reduce anxiety, and improve deep sleep.

Spring is peeking around the corner and here at Fox Muscle & Joint, the whole team can feel it. 🌿☀️
After a long winter of tight shoulders, stiff backs, and hibernation mode, we’re shifting gears right along with the seasons. Our therapists are stretching it out, soaking up a little sunshine, and getting ready to help our clients move into spring feeling stronger, lighter, and more mobile.
This is the time of year when people start getting back outside — walking more, training harder, gardening, traveling, and saying yes to adventures again. And we love being part of that transition.
Whether you’re coming out of winter stiffness, preparing for spring sports, or simply ready to feel good in your body again, our team is here for you.
New season. Fresh movement. Stronger bodies.
Let’s make this a spring where you move better and feel better. 🌱💪

We’ve had this hopeless front room that’s not been useful for anything but storage for 6 years. Now that more Saucy Foxy clients are coming in sometimes they need a separate place to go if a new bodywork client is filling our forms on the big couch. This room has been a therapy room, computer office, storage, and everything else.

Meet Abby 🦊✨ – Our Final Roane State Intern for the Year!
Today we officially welcome Abby as our final intern from the Roane State Community College massage therapy program for this year — and what a strong way to finish.
At Fox Muscle & Joint, we don’t do “shadow and stand in the corner.”
We mentor. We teach. We answer the hard questions. We talk SOAP notes. We talk nervous systems. We talk real clinic flow. We model what ethical, neuromuscular care looks like in the real world.
Our immersion students see:
✔️ How we assess
✔️ How we think clinically
✔️ How we communicate with patients
✔️ How we operate as a team
Because better therapists don’t happen by accident — they’re mentored with intention.
Abby, we’re proud of you already. It takes courage to step into a high-functioning clinic and say, “Teach me.” That humility and hunger to learn? That’s where greatness starts.
To our community — when you see interns in the office, know that you are part of building the next generation of neuromuscular therapists. That’s l

The end of our sports massage swim season marks our 5th year of dedicated contract work with division 1 NCAA sports teams. There was a time it was just me and that was a great experience. Today my favorite work is getting other therapists introduced into the world of sports massage. Their excitement is my new joy!
