Every time I run across this photo, I’m amazed at my CREATIVITY — colors, textures and how the designs just flow (analogy: like the gentle ebb and flow of a lovely stream!)

Yes! It draws me in and makes me feel hungry all over again! My jewelry supplies were packed away, inaccessible for nearly a year!
And some still are.
I need to see all my design components, options and choices!

Now I am poised and (almost) ready to again take the plunge!
I still have several jewelry design layouts at the ready.

Toddlers Be Like …!

No parent wants to watch their child get hurt. So when we see our child doing something we feel dangerous our first instinct is to shout “Be Careful” But saying this phrase is ineffective. It’s instilling fear and they lose focus. It doesn’t promote problem solving and it doesn’t teach them to self-regulate physical risk factors. Try these phrases instead: Do you feel safe/stable?Try using your legs/ armsTake your time, stay focusFind more spaceI’m here if you need meThis will help your child develop confidence and foster awareness. Do Bears Hibernate under Houses? YES, they sure do! Or they try to, anyway. Each and Every winter the BEAR League 'encourages' a minimum of 100 bears to scoot out from under someone's house or cabin in the Tahoe/Truckee area. We crawl in behind them and scare them from their slumber.... not very nice of us, we admit. However, they can cause a tremendous amount of damage to the plumbing, heating and gas lines. Plus they snore real loud. And some people are just not comfortable with a great big bear literally under their feet. This video is just one of the countless sleepy bears we've had to be mean to. If all residents would please secure their crawl space openings BEFORE the bears go in, we could let sleeping bears lie... because they wouldn't be under our homes. That would be so nice; for the bears, for the homeowners and for the 'Mean old BEAR League People' (thats' what the bears call us when we wake them up and chase them out)

God is clearly not done with me!
This is next, but leaving nothing behind !!!

Probably my first/next sewing project:
A darling face mask (music-themed) for our lovely Daughter In Law Chelsea, who teaches orchard in Cordova 👋 School and Junior High!

This beginner level project will launch me back into my love of sewing!

Now to find the fabric!
