I’ve made many batches of soap the last week or so and would appreciate your business this holiday season. I’ve not been too great about the marketing the last while (never have been honestly, I’m a terrible capitalist) and I have some moderately good excuses the past year or so. That being said I still have various overhead costs that I like to cover from sales. I’ll be working on labeling and listing on Etsy and have at least one holiday market scheduled. If you hear of anyone needing a soap vendor at one holler (but I’m kinda picky about ones I do for various reasons).

I’ve been busy with the soaping and forget to do the marketing. I’m at the Ijams holiday market today 10-3 if you want to buy useful consumable gifts and help me pay the soap bills.

I donated some soaps to benefit one of my favorite places to hang out in all of Knoxville.

I’m at the today from 11-4 if you’d like some soaps like these summery watermelon soaps or fresh basil soaps. I’m not sure anything smells better than basil and I was trying to match the colors of some varieties I am growing but it didn’t turn out quite right. Maybe just shoulda stuck with green.

I don’t have to worry about making a living off my Etsy shop but many makers do. I probably should have already raised my prices due to increased materials costs but have been reluctant to do so for various reasons. But I never want to undercut my fellow soapers who do make a living off their products. So it won’t impact me much but my Etsy shop will be closed this week in support of those trying to return Etsy to better times. You can learn more at etsystrike dot org.
