i’m gonna be so real when i say being in the beauty industry is one of the scariest things ive ever done. ya girl is already a big ball of anxiety despite how outgoing i come off as, and i am constantly overthinking and criticizing myself. putting myself out there in a position where i know i won’t be perfect right away is so scary to me. every day ive been telling myself “everyone starts somewhere” “the best started at the bottom too” “ if other people can , why can’t i” to get the courage to just do what i love and i know that as long as i do my best im doing all that i can. sometimes it’s so hard to remind myself that i deserve the same grace i would give other people , but im trying ❤️ im finally making myself take what i love seriously , and just doing it scared

after lots of planning, online orders, and personal pep talks to stop being scared i am almost ready to start taking clients !😍

I have been working extra at my restaurant job to save money to get everything i would need to start out , and i finally feel like i can start with what i have and build from there !

with that being said, i have also been holding myself back out of pure anxiety that i won’t do well, but what i’ve been hearing a lot lately is, “scared money don’t make no money “🤣 so ya girl is ready to stop being scared 🥲

in 3 weeks i will be taking clients tuesday and wednesday mornings, and i will probably just start out with friends and family at first until i get more comfortable to ease myself in. i will be offering acrylic/regular gel manicures, waxing, lash extensions, makeup services, and limited hair services🫶🏼

i will post a full service list with my beginning prices soon! i cannot wait to start this journey and finally get the courage to put myself out there and succeed like i know i can. thank you to everyone that’s encouraged me along the way, i wouldn’t be here without all of the support 💕

slightly sad update but because of the snow i will now be graduating at 2:30 pm on Friday, January 24th🫶🏼

sad that it’s been pushed back, but at least i know ill get there eventually 🤣

again whoever plans on coming please dress warm as the ceremony is outside for about 15 minutes, i can’t wait to say that i finished and celebrate with the people who got me through it🥰

i did it yall 😭😭😭😭 i can’t believe the end is so close but im so proud of myself for finishing and finishing strong. this year has been one of the hardest i’ve ever had in so many ways, but it taught me the most. this year taught me how strong, resilient, and hard working i am. this year taught me confidence, self worth, and that appreciating the good things instead of dwelling on the hard things can give you so much peace. i have grown so much and been shown so much support, i couldn’t have made it to where i am without everything that happened and everyone that helped along the way, i know i bring it up a lot but it’s taken a long time for me to realize how blessed i really am and baby i am BLESSED🥰

so if anyone would like to attend my graduation it will be January 18th at 3:30 pm at Tennessee School of Beauty ! dress warm because the ceremony will be outside for about 15-20 minutes.

christmas break starts today 🎄🎅🏼

i have passed all of my finals, and only have two weeks left after break until i become a Tennessee School of Beauty graduate 🥳

we come back on January 7th, come see me before my last clock out at 1500 hours 💕

life has been hard so i’ve been a little behind with the updates but she’s a ✨super senior✨now

a little over 100 hours before i graduate ! i took my final practical and got a 96, and got a 100 on my final presentation 🥳

i am on the floor taking clients full time now tuesday through friday and every other saturday ❤️

i can’t believe im so close to being done, and all this hard work is about to pay off. i couldn’t be where i am without my village and im so thankful for everyone that’s helped me along the way.

next week i start State Board Prep, then finals, then super senior 🥳

almost having 1300 hours is beyond mind blowing to me. i’m so thankful for this experience and everything it’s given me. i’ve been through some hard times lately, but knowing im working towards something so big has kept me going.

in a few weeks i will be on the floor full time , and i hope to see some of you soon 🥰

and back to doing hair again 💇🏽‍♀️
almost at 1200 hours, and i couldn’t be more excited and also terrified 😅
soon will be the final stretch to finishing beauty school but i can’t wait for all my hard work to pay off. i can’t wait to be able to hold that diploma and say i did it. i can’t wait to say i did it scared, i did it exhausted, i did it while going through things , and i did it while having some of the best experiences of my life 🥹
i truly have found a passion, and im so excited it’s in an industry where learning is endless

as of last week your girl is make up artist certified 🥳😍

i’ve always loved makeup , but never felt like i knew what i was doing and during these 5 weeks i learned so much. i surprised myself and fell in love 🫶🏼 i would LOVE to get some more makeup practice in so if anyone wants to lend me their face let me know 😇
