During the summer months of June–August, I pause scheduling chemical peels and don’t recommend retinol use. These treatments increase skin sensitivity, making it more vulnerable to sun exposure and potential damage—especially when consistent SPF reapplication every few hours isn’t realistic for most people during the year. I want my clients to enjoy the season freely, without worrying about compromising their skin. This time is best for protecting, maintaining, and supporting the barrier so your skin stays healthy, balanced, and ready for corrective treatments again in the fall.
Looks like a basic mask time, but we’re actually releasing the stuck tension and stress caused by the hustle of life while a lux mask is on. 😉
