The feedback I’m getting on this book makes me think it might change the world! Manuscript is finished, just sorting out the details. I’ll be ordering the first prints this coming week if all works out.

This tree was and remains a powerful symbol to me. I was surprised to feel a sense of grief for it when it fell some time ago.

Perhaps the only thing more powerful than a living symbol is the same mighty symbol, fallen.

In proper time.

After it’s work is complete.

Having shared life and love with many.

In a state of peaceful letting go.

From the acorn, the mighty and unwavering oak, and from the oak, ten million acorns.

Selah.

Had breakfast with my daughter this morning and dropped her off with her mother.

Both of my clients today were perfectly willing to go hiking around in the rain with me, talking about matters of substance.

Taking a break in the car between hikes. ☺️🙏

So honored to live the life I do. Today is a good day.

This year I gave everything I had to living the best life I can envision for myself and family.

It’s a song I like to play on repeat, and the consequences of the effort aren’t really much of a concern to me.

To move forward in truth, and to recognize that every ending signals a new beginning.

The victory is in the echo. 🙏

Thankful for my path.

Wickless Forever Candle by the Queen.

I’m not much for sweet smelling candles, preferring the scents of forest and herb, but this smells quite good!

I’m getting a little collection of these wickless candles going at the office. For $25, you get the candle and the warmer. If you already have a warmer, the candles are just $15.

So far, we have Pine Forest, Crows Nest, and Egg Nog, but she can make just about anything.

Get a few, they don’t seem to burn out and the scent is really long lasting. It’s been nice at the office to pick one according to my mood.

That picture you’ve always seen in your mind…the one of you dancing with fate and achieving your own potential…

Don’t ever turn away from that and call it humility. If you dig down deeply enough, you’ll recognize that it is fear.

Don’t ever apologize for what you are. ♥️🙏

“And so came a day, midwinter
When the sun raced across the sky
and those who were attentive
Prepared for the longest night
With fires in their hearths
And hope drawn forth to mind
When the light around us fades to nothing
The light within us shines.”

Every day is Winter Solstice when you work in mental health. Every day is someone’s darkest night. On this day, as every day, I offer a humble reminder that the sun will shine again.

It’s important to acknowledge the cycles of nature. 🙏🙏🙏
